Basic introduction to Pogo Pin

Pogo Pin basic component
Needle + spring + needle tube + pogo pin + plastic core + pogo pin connector
Notes on using POGO PIN
In the design, the amount of compression is generally 2/3 of the total stroke. If the pressure is too little and the positive force is not enough, the impedance will be unstable. If the pressure is too much, the nozzle will be damaged and the PIN will be stuck.
During the assembly process, attention should also be paid to keeping the nozzle away from the force, so as not to damage the nozzle and cause the PIN to get stuck.
The contacts or FPC gold fingers paired with the POGO PIN must not be dirty or oxidized.
POGO PIN CONNECTOR BASIC PARAMETERS
Needle(Piunger):
Brass is gold-plated (C3604). The thickness of the electroplating layer varies depending on different usage situations. Generally, nickel plating is 1.25-2.5um and gold plating is 0.125-0.5um.
Barrel:
Brass is gold-plated (C3604). The thickness of the electroplating layer varies depending on different usage situations. Generally, nickel plating is 1.25-2.5um and gold plating is 0.125-0.25um.
Spring: Stainless steel (SUS304) or piano wire.
Rubber core (Housing): PA46, PA9T, HTN, LCP (halogen-free material, fire protection grade UL94V-0)
