A basic spring-loaded pin consists of 3 main parts: a spring-loaded plunger pin, a spring-loaded locking pin, and a spring.
Customers' different applications require different design concepts, such as off-tail, reverse drill, ball, T-pin or coaxial. T-pin/ball/coaxial design handles high currents up to 15A with less than 30mΩ resistance.
The bias tail can improve pin stability, current < 3A, resistance < 30mΩ. Back drilling is suitable for very small space design, which can save design space, current < 1A, resistance < 200mΩ.
